I got a seriouse cut on my foot on a package holiday to morroco, this was due to a broken tile in the pool
l lost about 1.5 pints of blood and needed 3 stiches. This all happened on
the second day of a 2week holiday. After this l was very ill, for about a
week. And could not go into the swimming pools or beaches. All in all, l
belive my holiday was ruined due to this broken pool tile at the resort l
was staying at. l am thinking about making a clame. But l dont know if it
is a good idea, or even how to go about it. l took the address of the
resort and the holiday rep is names. l have a doctors report and an accident form (issued by the resort). l also have photos of my foot and the broken tile. but as l said l dont know if it is a good idea, or even how to go about it. can anyone help?
Unless the hotel is part of an international chain, it is
unlikely that you will be compensated. If it is part of a national or
better yet, international chain, then send the claim to the resort
headquarters. You might have to wait a LONG time, but at the least they
will offer you a free vacation. If it is a local resort, you can always
try.but don't spend a lot of time and money trying to get compensation.
